Vista Registry Repair
If you are experiencing performance problems with your PC and are running the Windows Vista operating system, a registry repair may be necessary. Error messages, freezing and crashing are all symptoms of Vista registry problems.
Why is Vista Registry Repair Necessary?
Over time your Vista registry can become damaged, which will cause numerous performance related problems with your PC.
The most common causes of a damaged Vista registry include:
- Excess build up of temporary files - Over time, temporary files build up in your computers registry. If these files are not removed, they begin to “clog” your vista registry causing performance problems and errors.
- Viruses and malware - These two culprits are responsible for all kinds of computer problems, including those that relate to your vista registry. Viruses and malware can cause problems by either damaging existing registry files, or creating new registry files that do not work with the hardware and software on your computer.
- Incomplete installation of hardware and software programs - This is perhaps the most common cause of registry damage. Every time you install new software or hardware on your computer, new registry entries are written. The problem is that when you remove these programs, not all of the registry files are remove. Over time as you add and remove more programs on your computer, useless files will begin to build up in your registry eventually leading to errors and poor computer performance.
You can eliminate these problems simply by cleaning your Vista registry once a week, or whenever you remove hardware or software programs from you PC.
